It may be bad that this makes me sad, but it does! Not sure how I will feel in three years when I am doing the same thing for high school.....probably worse. Can anyone tell me where time goes?
Ayden has been so blessed this year with a fabulous teacher. You know the one that you as an adult never forgot? That is Ayden's Mrs. McKinney! We love her and I have no idea how Ayden will feel about any teacher ever after her. She has a special place in our hearts for sure. She texted me the above picture late last night because she wanted to add to my sadness.....or proudness! Ayden is a great kid. Below is a picture she put together for him where all of his friends and she wrote things all about him. I have to admit it is him to a T! What do you think?
Yesterday was awards day.....Ayden received Principal's list for the 4th quarter, Principal's list trophy for the whole year of straight A's, perfect attendance for 4th quarter, chorus award, chess award, computer club award, civic oration award, DARE award, completion award, and flag detail award. He is a busy, busy child!! We are beyond proud of him!
Here's to a great last day of elementary school with his buddies and the best teacher ever! I know he will continue to make us proud in middle school. Look out Trexler here they come!!
