Cardboard Boat Regatta

 Welcome to the Cardboard Boat Regatta.  The Royal Rangers, church version of the boy scouts, had loads of fun creating and sailing their boats made only from cardboard and duct tape.  Lots and lots of duct tape!!  Noone sank....they all made it to the finish line, which was absolutely amazing to me.  I was not expecting success.....but I was proven wrong!  It was very interesting to see and they had such a good time that you could not stop the smile from spreading across their faces.  Plus, Raegan found a friend, some sand and a playset so she was in heaven too.  :)

Ummmm....obviously my kids think this morning is overrated!

Daddy's Shoes

I love to wear my Daddy's shoes

though my feet are very small,

but when they are in my Daddy's shoes,

I feel almost10 feet tall.

Some day I'll grow to fill them,

and I can only hope to be,

as fine a parent,

as my Daddy is to me.
